Supremacy Chapter One: School Security
BRIGHT FUTURE ACADEMY
________________________________________________________________
The Bright Future Academy of Higher Education for Gifted Youths was a place like no other. It was a haven for the brightest and most talented students from around the world, all under one roof. The campus was a bustling hub of activity, with students rushing between classes, clubs meetings, and extracurricular activities. The buildings were architectural marvels, designed by some of the most renowned architects in the world. As the sun rose over the sprawling campus, the day was already shaping up to be another illustrious one at the Bright Future Academy.
The morning started with a rigorous schedule of classes, ranging from advanced quantum mechanics to theoretical linguistics. Students were expected to maintain a high grade point average, and the faculty was comprised of some of the most esteemed professors in their respective fields. The classrooms were state-of-the-art, equipped with the latest technology and resources to aid in learning. Despite the demanding curriculum, the students thrived on the challenge and relished the opportunity to learn from the best.
Between classes, students had the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of clubs and organizations. There were clubs for everything from robotics to debating, from chess to creative writing. These clubs not only provided a platform for students to explore their interests, but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among the student body. The students were encouraged to collaborate and share their knowledge, creating an environment that nurtured innovation and collaboration.
As the day wore on, the campus buzzed with energy. Students could be seen studying in the library, attending club meetings, or simply catching up with friends over lunch. The dining hall was a melting pot of cultures, with cuisine from around the world on offer. The students were a diverse bunch, hailing from different countries and backgrounds, but they shared a common bond: their exceptional intellect and passion for learning.
Evening brought a new set of activities to the Bright Future Academy. Students attended lectures by visiting scholars, participated in research projects, or simply relaxed in the student lounge. The campus was abuzz with activity, as students pursued their passions and pushed the boundaries of knowledge. As the sun set over the sprawling campus, casting long shadows across the manicured lawns, it was clear that another day had passed at the Bright Future Academy, a day filled with learning, growth, and the pursuit of excellence.
For some students, the day didn't end there. They stayed up late into the night, working on assignments, collaborating with classmates, or simply lost in thought. The library, normally bustling with activity during the day, became a haven for those who thrived in the quiet solitude of the night. The sound of fingers tapping on keyboards, the soft rustling of pages, and the occasional hushed conversation filled the air, creating a serene atmosphere that was uniquely Bright Future Academy.
Despite the demanding schedule, the students found ways to relax and unwind. They played intramural sports, attended concerts and performances by their peers, and even organized movie nights in the student lounge. These activities helped to create a well-rounded student experience, one that fostered not only academic excellence but also camaraderie and a sense of community.
As the students settled into their dorms for the night, exhausted but fulfilled, they knew that tomorrow would bring new challenges, new opportunities, and new adventures. They were the future, the brightest and the best, and they were ready to take on the world. The Bright Future Academy had prepared them well, and they were more than ready to make their mark on the world.

Dawn came and 14yo Gabriel Grimshaw was already up and dressed for the day with his bed made. The dark haired young man looked at himself in the mirror while he mentally prepared himself for another day. He was, as his mother described, boyishly handsome, looking almost angelic according to her, and he supposed she was right. He was confident enough to admit it. It helped that he was also taller than normal. Not a giant of course but he was still taller than most of his peers. His hazel eyes beheld his reflection looking back at him and he smiled. Bright Future might be far away from his parents, and he dearly missed them, but The Academy was certainly interesting. Normal schools were never a challenge for him but this place kept him on his toes. The subjects here were challenging enough that he actually had to put in the work to keep up with them which was more than he could have ever said for public school. It wasn't that there weren't nice people at those schools, there were, along with all sorts of other people, but honestly? It just wasn't enough to challenge him. Sports would be boring no matter what but at least this higher education and their technology made things fun. Besides, he could go see his parents anytime he wanted.
He winked at his reflection, pointed finger guns at it, clicked his tongue and hopped down from the stool he'd been standing on and returned to his room to grab his bag for class.

On his way back out he encountered Hewie Beaumont. Due to working in the same class, Hewie was a kid the same age as Gabriel and had more of a bespectacled classy Ron Weasley look to him. Gabriel knew how much he hated the comparison due to the movies dunking on Ron at every opportunity so he only occasionally brought it up out of jest. Personality wise they complimented each other well. Gabriel was the more reserved of the two compared to Hewie's boundless energy but he was always down for having a good time and having fun. In terms of height he was more average for a Middle Schooler compared to the taller Gabriel.
"Good morning, Gabriel, I hope you slept well."
"Like I always do. How about you?"
"I always have too much energy so I needed to use a sleeping pill to knock myself out but it did the trick. I'm just glad I woke up on time."
"I would've just knocked on your door to wake you up." Gabriel told him with a smirk.
"Yeah the last time you did that it sounded like cannon fire against my door. How did you even do that?"
"You've seen me in Gym, right? I'm all muscle!" Gabriel replied referring to his lean but muscular build.
"Naturally shredded and naturally tall. You have the most unfair genetics in the world my friend." Hewie joked.
"You don't know the half of it." Gabriel replied with a chuckle.
"I'm serious man if you keep growing at this rate you'll be a giant by the time you graduate!"
"Now wouldn't that be something? My Dad certainly is so I wouldn't be surprised."
"Well then, Mister Giant, are you ready for another morning of Ruth's Quantum Physics Class?"
'Ruth' was the nickname for Professor Christina Rutherford. Their homeroom Quantum Physics Teacher. She was well known among the students to be harsh but fair earning her the quiet nickname 'Ruthless Christina' or just Ruth.
"You betcha. Besides, we're only getting a Lecture today so it will be smooth sailing." He assured him.
